The installation operation failed
The installetion operation has encountered a fatal error:
Unable to find a supported device to write the VMware ESX server 3i 3.5.0 image to.

Fdisk -l komutuyla gelen bilgiler ;
disk /dev/disks/vmhba0:0:0:0: 500.1 GB, 50010782016 bytes
255heads, 63 sector/track, 60801 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 =8225280
şeklinde bir hata alıyorum.Yardım cı olabilirseniz sevinirim.

Aşağıdaki kısımda ne anlatmak istediğini pek anlamadım. vi /usr/lib/vmware/installer/Core/TargetFilter.py yazdığımda "/usr/lib/vmware/installer/core/targetfilter.py [modified] 1/1 100% şeklinde işlem bitişi yazıyor. Ne yapmam gerektiği hakkında bilgi verebilirseniz sevinirim.
2) After you have console access you will enter the command vi /usr/lib/vmware/installer/Core/TargetFilter.py (note that the path and filename are case-sensitive).
3) Scroll down in the document until you find the section "def IDEFilter(lun)". You will be changing the text:
return interface.GetInterfaceType() == ScsiInterface.SCSI_IFACE_TYPE_IDE
to
return interface.GetInterfaceType() == ScsiInterface.SCSI_IFACE_TYPE_ISCSI

aşağıdaki adımları takip ederek uygulamayı yaptım.
cd /usr/lib/vmware/installer/Core
ls -l
chmod 644 TargetFilter.py
ls -l T*
vi TargetFilter.py
return interface.GetInterfaceType() == ScsiInterface.SCSI_IFACE_TYPE_IDE
to
return interface.GetInterfaceType() == ScsiInterface.SCSI_IFACE_TYPE_ISCSI şeklinde değiştirdim fakat sonuç yine aynı oldu. başka bir önerisi olan varmıdır ?
vmkctl.HostCtlException: Unable to load module /usr/lib/vmware/vmkmod/vmfs3: failure şeklinde bir uyarı geliyor.
