Vmware 5.1 host connection sorunu

Merhaba,

ESXI 5.1 kurulu 3 adet hostum bulunuyor. 1. server kendisini bir sure sonra vcenter dan dustu. Yeniden baglantı kurmaya calıstıgımda ise "Request times out"  hatası alıyorum ve hiçbirsekilde baglanmıyor.

Cozum icin gidip konsolundan baglanmak istedim sifreyi giriyorsunuz kabul etmiyor ve ondan sonra kilitliyor hiçbir sekilde klavyeyi kullandırmıyor. SSH acık olmasına ragmen uzaktan erisim yapamıyorsunuz ama ping atabiliyorsunuz.

Belki server da donanımsal sorun vardır dedim ve guestler calısırken restart etmek zorunda kaldım server ı. Restart edip uzerindeki butun guestleri 2. host uzerine tasıdım. 1. frmware upgradeı yapmadan bir sure beklettim. Gercekten dusuyormu yine diye ancak 2 gundur dusmedi. Ama ilginctir bu defa da 2. host dustu vcenter dan.

Guestlerin bir etkisi mi oluyor tam olarak algılayamadım.

Sizin Onerileriniz nedir acaba ?

 

Vcenter loglarına  bakmanız lazım.Tahmin yürütmek bir hayli güç.Logları paylaşabilirmisiniz.

 Bu arada lisansım 5.0 uzerine alındı ancak 5.1 e upgrade edilme suresinde maint.. anlasmam nedeni ile upgrade hakkım var iken yapmıstım upgr. işlemlerini.

Storage adapters kısmındaki pathleri kontrol edin. bu tür problemler storage, HBA, SAN switch de problem olduğunda ortaya çıkıyor. Vmware APD olarak geçiyor. Sorunun çözümü ancak Hostların reboot u ile çözülüyor. Server Storage tarafındaki bağlantıları ve ayarları kontrol edin.

serverları reboot dısında esxi kurulumlarını dahi yeni yaptım. ve storage baglantıları FC direk baglılar hehangi bir switch bulunmamakta.

aslında 3 server confg aynı sekilde ama sadece guestleri hangi server uzerine tasısam o dusuyor sadece. digerleri herhangi bir sorun yasamıyor.

Peki bu sorun ilgili upgrade işlemlerinin ardındanmı başladı.

Birde şu işlemleri deneyebilirmisiniz ?

1. In the vSphere Client, click Administration > vCenter Server Settings. The vCenter Server Settings dialog appears.
2. If the vCenter Server system is a part of a connected group, select the server you want to configure from the Current vCenter Server drop-down.
3. In the settings list, select SSL Settings.
4. Select vCenter requires verified host SSL certificates. If there are hosts that require manual validation, these hosts appear in the host list at the bottom of the dialog.
5. Determine the host thumbprint for each host that requires validation.
   1. Log in to the direct console (DCUI).
   2. Select View Support Information in the System Customization menu. The thumbprint is displayed in the right-side column.

      Notes:

      • If you do not have access to the direct console, you connect a vSphere Client that has not installed the hosts certificate directly to the host. When it prompts you for certificate confirmation, select View Certificate > Details, then scroll down to thumbprint.
      • If your issue is occurring because the SSL Thumbprints do not match, when you click OK all listed hosts disconnect from vCenter Server. Reconnect each host (this requires the root password) to refresh the SSL thumbprints.
6. Compare the thumbprint you obtained from the host with the thumbprint listed in the vCenter Server Settings dialog.
7. If the thumbprints match, select the check box for the host.
8. Click OK. Hosts that you have not selected are now disconnected.

Size tavsiyem switch portlarini kontrol edin. Portlar sorun cikariyor olabilir. Yada aginizi kilitleyen birseyler var. Solucan olup olmadigini kontrol edin. Tum client tarafini taramadan gecirin. Bu sadece bir tavsiye gecmis olsun.

Bu ESXI Host'lar aynı cluster içerisinde mi? Eğer öyleyse, bu ESXI host'ları vCenter 'dan remove edip, terkar cluster'a dahil edin. Sonrasında da cluster - Edit Settings - Turn On vSphere HA başında tick işaretini kaldırın ve OK tıklayın. Sonra yine aynı yere gidip, kaldırdığınız tick işaretini yeniden set edin.

 Evet tolga beyin dediği gibi olabilir. Cluster bazen böyle sorunlara neden olabiliyor.
