Using USB Redirector for Windows and USB Server for Linux products you can use shared USB devices between these Operating Systems without any limitations.
Our solutions allow to share and access any USB device over local
network or Internet. Use remote USB devices as if they are directly
plugged into your PC!
To start using a remote USB device you just need to share it with
the help of USB Redirector on the computer where it is physically
plugged. Please note that you can use this USB device both on local and
remote computers without any limitation.
USB redirector can
work both on separate computers and Server Stations. Terminal sessions'
users can use USB Redirector for connecting their local USB devices to
the remote Server they are working.
Now you can use USB
device not only on the computer where it is physically plugged in! It
is possible to use USB devices on computers without USB hardware
support or where USB Host Controller is damaged.
How to start...
Having
a network you need to install the program in any computer which uses
USB devices. After installing each user can connect to any computer in
the network by simply adding the IP of that computer in the USB server
zone. If there are USB devices which are connected to those computers
they will appear like they are installed on your system so you can
access them very easily. You can see the connected devices in a tree
list on the program's main interface. This list is refreshed each time
a device is plugged or unplugged from a computer.
