Job Description

To analyze, design and develop internet based solutions, using various programming languages and database systems in accordance with departmental goals and objectives for quality, response and resolution times.

• Discovery, documentation, and analysis of functions to be implemented in software.
• To determine technologies to be integrated with other departments as a decision maker.
• To determine the timetable for the project.
• Architectural design, component design, and interface design.
• To plan feedback of the system.
• To evaluate web designers options as well as developing software.
• Development on demand.
• Enhancement and upgrades of existing systems.
• Refactoring existing systems.
• To track developed systems by gathering information from the field to determine key points for; performance tuning and security enhancement.
• To perform service monitoring and performance reporting
• To produce solutions for the problems occurred during deployment phase and service life time.
• To train users for the developed software.
• Liaise with technology partners for feature changes, bugs and new requests
• To learn new technologies to advance development skill.
• To research for enhancing quality, performance and security of the services.

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree in computer sciences or related area.
• Min. 3 years experience in Web development within a commercial environment.
• Knowledge of RDBMS as a developer.
• In depth knowledge of Web programming languages and tools in different platforms (HTML, PHP, JAVA, AJAX, Ruby on Rails, Linux, Liferay, Apache)
• Depth knowledge of Web programming languages and tools in different platforms.
• Written and spoken English skills needed.
