Job Description

To maintain web, mail and database servers in Internet Operations, in order to keep them up 7/24 at their best level.

• Configure and run web servers
• Control qmail mail server and advertisement banner server
• Set up and manage sql servers
• Plan new versions of operating systems and software as well as new products
• Take backups of all web and database servers daily and weekly
• Coding backup scripts
• Analyses access logs for all web servers
• To prepare analysis reports
• Coordinate with other IT departments to solve problems or to make common projects
• Controlling of correct and timely updating of financial and news data flow from third party companies

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in computer or electrical & electronics engineering from a reputable university in Turkey or abroad.
• Minimum 3 years experience and technical knowledge on Windows OS, Linux, Red Hat variations (Sun Solaris not required but preferred)
• Experience on server clustering in Linux OS.
• Must have knowledge of HA(high availability) concepts
• Must have knowledge on Jboss, Apache installation and configurations.
• MSSQL, MySQL and Oracle knowledge will be an asset.
• Time management & personal organizational skills.
• Fluent in English both in speaking and writing
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ready to travel or work abroad
• Great knowledge on web-oriented technologies
• Excellent team worker
• Ready to work 7/24 in necessary situations
